All of the waterless hand sanitizers I’ve seen have “denatured ethanol.” Denatured ethanol means that it has been rendered unfit for human or animal consumption-by adding toxic ingredients. This is how other companies denature the alcohol in their products, so that it can be used as a cleaning solvent.
