This great tasting, easy recipe is low-glycemic and high in nutrition. The addition of Young Living essential oils provides added benefits not found in other beverage recipes. This smoothie recipe is also very high in antioxidants. ~ Enjoy!
Goji Berry (Wolfberry) Smoothie Recipe
1/3 cup Young Living Wolfberries (Goji Berries)
1 organic banana, medium to large size, quartered
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
4 oz Young Living’s NingXia Red juice
1/4 cup coconut cream or coconut milk
1 – 2 teaspoons Young Living Blue Agave
1-2 drops of either Orange or Tangerine Young Living Essential Oil**
a couple ice cubes
pinch Celtic sea salt
Optional: 2 teaspoons milk thistle seeds (a terrific addition for liver health), ground and soaked in a little water overnight.
Soak the Wolfberries 15 minutes, in just enough water to cover them.
Combine all ingredients in a blender, whir until blended.
** It is very important that you do not use store bought essential oils as they are not pure enough for ingesting and will not be safe. Please only use therapeutic-grade essential oils like Young Living’s.
